Summary

Aura is a pioneer in the UK and one of the most popular CBD brands across the continent with a holistic approach to its business. Committed to their veganism and environmental protection principles, Aura believes in everyone’s right to access high-grade, genuine CBD oil.

With a customer-focused business model offering personal consultation even before one’s first purchase, Aura has set itself apart from many corporate monoliths running amok in the industry. So let’s take a look at what they have in store for us.

Pros

Pioneer in the UK for full-spectrum CBD oils and pastes

Customer service is top-notch

Personalized service and free consultation

Cons

Limited product catalog and options

Shipping and refund policy leaves much to be desired

Individual product information is not comprehensive

Company

Aura was one of the first CBD companies in the UK to offer full-spectrum products and CBD paste. Established in 2015, the company directly resulted from the founder’s personal quest to find remedies for health ailments.

However, we had conflicting information on who the founder is. The website states Charlotte as founder, but google search keeps referring to Aura Lakshmi as the founder. We were a bit confused by this mixup.

Regardless, the company is built on holistic wellness principles and a desire to offer people high-grade organic CBD products at affordable prices.

Products

Aura CBD offers a limited range of full-spectrum CBD oil, paste, balms, and edibles. All products have less than 0.2% THC in accordance with local regulations.

  • Oil: Available in potency percentages of 2.5% to an extra-strong 30% terpene-rich version, these full-spectrum CBD oils are strong and cater to people of all levels. They also have a 20% raw oil variant, which is recommended. Bottles are 10ml in size.

  • Paste: Two CBD paste products are available with 16% CBD concentration. The pastes come in 3mg and 6mg sizing options.

  • Topicals: Roll on balms with 3% CBD are perfect for alleviating soreness and pain. They help in soothing your skin and acting as a daily moisturizer. Aura also has bath salts, Anti-aging facial oil, massage oil, and 300mg CBD recovery cream in its collection.

  • Edibles: Their edibles line consists of the only CBD infused raw chocolate. We could not determine the amount of CBD in the chocolate. They are vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, and sugar-free with a milk choco taste.

Price

Products are reasonably priced, in our opinion. We didn’t find any discrepancies or variations in comparison to other brands from the region.

  • CBD oil (10ml): £17.99- £79.99
  • Paste: £49 – £110
  • Balm (30ml): £25
  • Recovery Cream: £39.99
  • Raw chocolate (30 counts):£29

Manufacturing

Aura sources its full spectrum, whole-plant extracts from European farms, where CBD rich industrial hemp is put through a supercritical CO2 extraction process. All their products are 100% organic, vegan, and cruelty-free.

Testing

Aura sends all its products to a third-party lab for independent testing of the cannabinoid content, terpenes, residues, and infections. Results are published online for your perusal.

Products are devoid of any artificial colors, flavorings, preservatives, or sweeteners.

Buying Experience

The website is designed with calm hues and earthy tones, which are quite appealing. Searching through the product catalog is easy, although we experienced a few glitches at times.

The customer service of Aura is probably unparalleled in the industry. They focus on holistic consumer experience and help educate every reader about CBD and its benefits. They even offer a free personal consultation before you make your first purchase. We wish all customer reps were of this caliber.

They have a 14-day return policy for faulty products and for no other reason. This is substandard in comparison to most CBD companies we’re used to.

While the company ships outside the UK, it’s not typical, and you need to email customer support first.

Conclusion

Aura CBD is a reputed name in the industry, and it’s easy to see why. Their products are excellent, especially the CBD paste, and the customer’s first approach is the golden standard. However, their drawbacks include a small product line, substandard returns policy, and product branding.

However, if you’re from the UK or nearby regions, Aura should be one of your first choices for CBD requirements.
