Summary

While we routinely review CBD brands from the US at CBD examiners, we often don’t come across companies from foreign shores. So when we got samples from Cheds CBD oil, we were quite excited to try them out and see how they fared against American CBD companies.

Another CBD company are a UK based CBD retailer offering a range of products such as capsules, pastes, oils, edibles, and more. They have both Sativa and hybrid variant products and serve customers worldwide despite Europe being their base market.

Please note: We would like to state that Ched’s CBD recently merged with Another CBD Company. While we originally tested out Ched’s CBD products, we reviewed their new website and are satisfied with the products on offer and services offered to update this review.

Pros

A diverse range of products for European customers

Certified high-quality hemp extract

Varying potencies and sizing options for new and regular users

Active customer support and social media presence

Cons

Product information is inconsistent

Purchase process can be improved

The website design could be improved. It’s quite plain at the moment.

Company

Andrew Bayley founded CBD Brothers in 2014, with a mission of making high quality CBD products available to the UK customers. After initial success, he stepped back due to personal issues. However, in 2019, he couldn’t stay from the industry that gave him so much. So he began laying down foundation for Another CBD company. In 2020, they acquire Ched’s CBD which was a reputed brand on it’s own.

Another CBD is run by a small but enthusiastic team, who place customer experience on top of their success metrics. They are one of the few companies that offer free samples of their products for new customers. Their focus is more on the quality of products rather than flashy designs or gimmicky marketing campaigns. They call themselves a People before Profit company, intending to provide consumers with top-quality CBD products.

Products

A great thing about Another CBD is that they offer a wide range of products and variants. There’s something for everyone from Sativa whole plant extracts to blends and high potency golden oil products. Different sizing options are also available, which is highly appreciated.

The company has partnered with CBD brothers and sell some of their products on their website as well.

  • Oil tinctures: Triple filtered with less than 0.2% THC, CBD oil comes in potencies from 1.4% to 6% for their Sativa whole plant variant with a Sativa/Indica blend and a strong 20% golden oil Sativa option available as well.

  • Capsules: All of Another CBD capsules are vegan, created using coconut oil, and are available in different strain variants. You could choose from the whole Sativa plant, an 80/20 Sativa-Indica blend, and premium extracted golden oil variant.

  • Paste: Without an oil carrier, these are thicker and preferred by a particular type of consumer. Available in hybrid blends with varying concentrations.

  • Water Soluble CBD: They offer the innovative drinkable CBD alternative combining 16% CBD plant extract with organic water soluble terpene rich carrier.

  • Balms: Topical balms with hemp extract, coconut oil, beeswax, and other ingredient mixtures, are available although we couldn’t find the specific CBD content.

  • Edibles: with 99.6% CBD, the CBD isolate powder is said to be in the “purest form possible” and can be used for cooking/direct consumption. Available in 500mg to 5000mg options. They also have CBD infused chocolates, with both a hot chocolate stirrer and milk chocolate varieties.

Price

The price range for the products differs widely depending on the product type and concentration/size you choose. This is a good thing, though, since it allows you to find something suitable for you.

  • Oil Sativa Whole Plant (100ml): £59.99 – £279.99
  • Oil Blend (100ml): £220.99
  • Golden Oil Capsules: £11.75 – £175.00
  • CBD Balm (50ml): £39.99
  • CBD Isolate (5000 mg): £250.00
  • 60/40 CBD Hybrid Whole Plant Paste: £21.75 – £680.00

Manufacturing

Another CBD uses only organic ingredients in all its products. They import natural whole plant extracts from reputable companies in Europe and the UK. The supercritical CO2 extraction process is used to focus on ensuring all extracts have high levels of CBD and other vital cannabinoids, terpenes, and terpenoids. All extracts also have omega 3, 6, and 9 amino and fatty acids.

Testing

A third-party lab tests all hemp extracts and products. They try to assess the cannabinoids content, terpenes, and presence of pesticides, herbicides, or other harmful residues. All test reports are published on the website.

Buying Experience

The company is pretty new, and hence there are a few kinks to iron out. The website is easy to navigate, and trying to find the right product doesn’t take long. However, we would appreciate more information on the product descriptions and more product images. The purchasing process could be improved upon, with a more natural one-click purchase model being the industry standard.

The product packaging and designs are very simple. we actually loved the earlier Ched’s CBD themes of Dark-colored hues with robust designs which got a thumbs up from us. While there is a lot of information on CBD itself, we could not find shipping and returns policies or other order related information.

Conclusion

Another CBD seems to be a great brand with a wide range of products. We can see them catering to a significant European demographic, provided they improve their website and iron out the purchase process.

The quality of the products we tested was surprisingly good for a company of its size, and we hope to see them grow into a bigger brand in the future.
