Founded in 2015 by Jeff Riman, King Kanine’s mission has been to promote pet wellness inside and out. They source the highest quality hemp available from American farms and develop unique all-natural products that promote health and well-being in your pets. 

The company tries to empower pet owners with knowledge and resources through various social media channels and are actively involved in community engagement. They are a business ambassador for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and have been awarded by various media outlets and animal organizations

King Kanine has a range of products, although their diversity lies in their topicals and grooming range. Their oils are pretty strong, but the treats come in only one potency. 

• Oils: Available in potencies of 75mg-600mg, naturally occurring broad-spectrum CBD and arctic krill oil are suitable for both dogs and cats.

• Crunches: all-natural CBD cookies with 3mg naturally-derived cannabidiol are available in flavors of blueberry, apple, and honey roasted almonds. 

• Topicals: CBD anti-itch spray helps reduce inflammation and soothes pain/itching. CBD balm helps moisturize your dog’s paws and protect their feet. They also have a mange & mite management spray.

• Grooming: The all-natural dog shampoo is hypoallergenic, eco-friendly, and non-toxic. Other products include foaming pet claw cleaner, deshedding tool, bed spray, and odor eliminator.

Products are higher priced than regular CBD treats and oils for animals.

We tried a range of products from King Kanine for my parent’s dogs.

King Kalm Balm is amazing. The little pup has super dry paws during the winter months, but the paw balm made them soft again really fast. My parents immediately ordered another batch.

The older dog had a try with the King Kalm CBD oil. What we noticed is that the dog became more active (10 yo). The dog has arthritis and was slightly limping before, but since using this oil, the dog does not limp as much anymore. It seems to be much more effective than regular medications. 

The King Klean Bedding Spray was used to kill bacteria and get rid of the bad odors around the dog. The bed spray helped tremendously in keeping the home fresh and clean. The dog smell was not noticeable anymore.

The company uses a CO2 extraction process and uses Broad-spectrum Phytocannabinoid rich oils in all its products. CBD is homogeneously suspended in Antarctic Krill oil, and manufacturing takes place GMP Certified, ISO-9001 FDA registered facility

All products are free of solvents, pesticides, metals, and unnatural substances. Independent third-party labs are employed to test all products, and results with a certificate of analysis are published on the website. Individual batch tests aren’t available.

King Kanine offers free shipping on all domestic (U.S.) orders over $100. Orders are processed on the same day and shipped within 1-2 business days. International shipping for all countries except Australia and Canada are possible. 

They offer a full 30-day refund on all products minus the shipping charge. 

The website is simplistic, with the designs being quite archaic. We weren’t big fans and would prefer it to be upgraded to a more modern style. The purchasing process was easy, although browsing the products was unnecessarily cluttered. Calling up customer support and getting information about the products was more cumbersome than we expected it to be. We hope this is looked into. 

King Kanine is a reputed brand, and we can recommend their products without second thoughts. They could, however, expand their edibles segment, and possibly improve the customer experience. 

However, when it comes to quality, they are second to none, and your dogs would be delighted to follow a regimen with King Kanine’s CBD.
