Based out of La Jolla, California, Petly was founded by two “dog dads,” Stefan Mckellar and Todd Erwin. While they already ran a very successful CBD brand, ” Nanocraft,” they felt that CBD for pets had always been an afterthought in the industry. Usually, big-name companies would list a couple of CBD products for pets, which would be identical to their mainline.

For this review, we tried both the CBD oil and CBD treats for Dogs for around three weeks. We have two dogs, and they both face very different issues. Our Great Dane is 11 years old and has arthritis, while our younger golden retriever is just over a year old.

CBD Oil

This oil is amazing. It significantly improved our Dog’s pain, and we could see her sleeping at night in peace. For several months, we could hear her moans at nights, and nothing seemed to work. But Petly CBD oil seems to have alleviated her pain, as well as calmed her down at night. 

CBD Treats

So our younger Golden Retriever is a thunderbolt and runs around all day long. But whenever we leave the house, it starts getting very finicky due to loneliness. The CBD chews significantly lessened its anxiety, bringing about a calming effect. It’s also much easier to give treats rather than administer oil drops. Our dog keeps clawing for more of the beef flavored chews!

All of the hemp used by Petly is grown in nutrient-rich soil in Colorado. Their farmers operate under strict guidelines and use only 100% organic practices. Manufacturing, Distillation, and production are undertaken in their Colorado Facilities.

Their customer support is quite good. We faced no issues contacting them, and the reps were responsive with knowledgeable answers.

Petly also made a giving pledge, wherein they’ve promised to give $1 for every product to charities looking after animals.
