Populum offers a range of premium full-spectrum CBD products.  They offer supplements, skin products, CBD sets, and CBD for your pets.  

When you purchase a CBD beginner set, you  get 250mg tincture, 100mg Zens Pet tincture, and cold therapy hemp rub in it. Highly recommended for new users. 

• Oil: Full-spectrum CBD tinctures are their best tasting products as they are flavored naturally with orange essence. Blended with grapeseed oil and coconut oil, they come in concentrations of 250, 500, and 1,000 milligrams of CBD..

• Capsules: Gluten-free gelatin capsules offer 25mg CBD per capsule. Each bottle contains 30 doses.

We received sample packs for this review from the company and I tried them all over the course of 2 weeks. Here’s my personal experience                     

Cold Therapy Hemp Rub

I tried this rub to get rid of soreness in my legs after long-distance running. I could feel the effect immediately as it gave me a quick relief of pain and soreness. I recommend using it right after a run/workout and just before bedtime. I tried this three times, and I was pain-free in the morning every time.

Full Spectrum Hemp Oil

I like this hemp oil. Not only does it help me to get rid of my anxiety and stress during the day, but it also gives you a nice fresh breath. The taste is great too. Recommend it.

Hemp Oil Softgel Capsules

The soft gels are one out of a dozen. Nothing special but it does the trick. Easy to keep with you at all times and to keep dosing CBD during the day. The effect only lasts for an hour or so, and I don’t feel comfortable yet to keep dosing more CBD so quickly.

They use proprietary technology to isolate and remove any unwanted compounds.  At the same time, they are creating potency levels of other cannabinoids.  Their products are formulated in a standard GMP facility, testing and bottling the products with care.  The hemp is grown using organic farming practices in Colorado. 

They use third-party labs for their testing, and with each order, they include the lab results in the box.  Their products are triple tested for purity and quality, which is unique in this business.  Most brands test their products only once.  The lab tests each batch at every step of the formulation process.

Populum ships its products through the USPS and offers free first class shipping.  The order will arrive in 5-7 business days.  If you want it sooner, you can use priority mail for $7.00, and you will receive your order in 3-5 business days.  Per federal regulations, they do not ship outside of the United States.

Populum wants to give their first time customers time to try their products with zero stress, so they offer a thirty-day, risk-free trial.  If their customers are not satisfied with their product within the first month, they will provide a full refund.

They also offer a 100% quality assurance, meaning you can return any product you’re not satisfied with, and they shall either replace it or refund your money. this was clarified to me by their team and is highly appreciated.

The website is simple and nice. The colors are earthy and design is easy to navigate around. While there wasn’t a stand feature on the website, we definitely appreciate the simplicity and user friendliness. All of their products have a description on the product’s page, what it can be used for, and other relevant information.  

It is great to know that when you buy CBD products that you are getting safe, natural, clean ingredients that have been tested to make sure and give you full-spectrum concentrations.  At Populum, they have representatives that will be happy to chat with you or talk to you on the phone with any questions or concerns, or you can email them.

Although they do not offer many products, what they offer are reliable CBD oils and topicals.  With fewer products, it makes your selection easier.  We also loved their “Create your holiday CBD gift” idea and spend quite a bit of time tinkering around. 

Adding the lab results for the products you order in the box is a huge plus to us seeing other sellers make search around their website to find this information. Even though we feel the brand needs to set itself apart in some way, we still feel Populum offers enough high-quality products and a stellar customer service to earn our recommendation. 

Update: we talked with the Populum team and they clarified quite a few things that we initially had issues with. Subsequently, we have updated this review and our outlook on the company.
